How to schedule an SMS campaign

Send your SMS campaign at a specific date and time instead of immediately.

Overview

When creating an SMS campaign in Brave Tools, you can choose to send it immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time. This is useful for timing your messages to reach contacts at the optimal moment.

How to schedule

  1. Create your campaign as normal — select a list, compose your message, and preview the cost
  2. On the Confirm & Send step, look for the send time section
  3. Click Schedule for later
  4. In the dialog that appears, select your desired date and time
  5. The time must be at least 5 minutes in the future
  6. Click Set Schedule

The send time section will now show your scheduled date and time, along with your timezone.

Sending the scheduled campaign

After setting the schedule:

  1. Confirm the GDPR consent checkbox
  2. Click I am ready - Schedule SMS

Your campaign will be queued and automatically sent at the scheduled time.

Changing or canceling a schedule

Before the campaign is sent, you can:

  • Clear the schedule — Click "Clear" next to the scheduled time to switch back to immediate sending
  • Change the time — Clear the current schedule and set a new one

Once a campaign has started sending, it cannot be canceled.

Timezone

The schedule uses your browser timezone. The timezone is displayed next to the scheduled time so you can verify it is correct. If you are scheduling for contacts in a different timezone, adjust accordingly.

Tips

  • Schedule SMS for business hours (9am-6pm) in the recipient timezone for best engagement
  • Avoid sending late at night or early morning
  • Double-check the date — make sure you are not accidentally scheduling for the wrong day
  • Your credits are reserved when the campaign is created, not when it sends
