Property Pack Builder - Get started
Property Pack Builder lets you create, manage, and publish collections of HubSpot properties in bulk. Instead of creating properties one by one in HubSpot, you define them in a pack and push them all at once — across Contacts, Companies, Deals, and Tickets.
What is a Property Pack?
A property pack is a reusable template containing a set of HubSpot properties. Each property in the pack includes its name, label, type, field type, group, description, and options (for dropdowns, checkboxes, etc.). You build the pack once and publish it to any connected portal.
Two ways to create a pack
1. From an Excel template
Upload an Excel file with your properties defined in columns. This is the fastest way to create large packs — especially useful when migrating properties between portals or setting up a new portal from a standardized template.
2. Manual creation
Build your pack directly in Brave Tools. Add properties one by one, configure their types and options, and preview before publishing.
How to publish a pack
- Open Property Pack Builder from the sidebar
- Create a new pack or open an existing one
- Add your properties (via Excel upload or manually)
- Review the pack — check property names, types, and options
- Select the portal you want to publish to
- Click Publish — Brave Tools creates all properties in HubSpot in one batch
Properties that already exist in the portal will be skipped. Only new properties are created.

Tips
- Use property groups to organize your properties in HubSpot. You can specify the group in the pack.
- Keep property internal names lowercase with underscores (e.g. preferred_language) — these can't be changed after creation in HubSpot.
- Test with a sandbox portal first if you're publishing a large pack.
- You can duplicate and edit existing packs to create variations for different portals.
