Who can use Brave Tools?
Anyone. You can create a Brave Tools account and start using tools right away. Some tools work fully on their own, while others require a HubSpot portal connection. What you can access depends on your Brave Tools plan and, for some tools, your HubSpot license level.
Brave Tools plans
Brave Tools has its own plan tiers that determine which tools you can access:

Tools that work without HubSpot
These tools don't require a HubSpot connection at all:
- Growth Prioritizer — standalone planning tool
- Happy Center Setup — standalone configuration tool
Tools that require a HubSpot connection
Most tools need a connected HubSpot portal. Some also require specific HubSpot license levels due to API scope requirements:

HubSpot scopes that unlock extra features
Some tools work with basic access but gain extra functionality with higher HubSpot licenses:
- Content Visualizer — Marketing Events: Requires Marketing Hub Professional+ (scope: crm.objects.marketing_events.read). Without this, only blogs and emails are shown.
- Content Visualizer — Campaigns: Requires Marketing Hub Professional+ (scope: marketing.campaigns.read).
- Property Transformer — HubSpot logging: SMS and communication logging to HubSpot requires Professional+ for the Communications API.
Recommended setup for full functionality
- Content Hub Professional — unlocks HubDB Editor and full Content Visualizer
- Marketing Hub Professional — enables campaigns, marketing events, and communication logging
- Brave Tools Standard or Professional — access to all Brave Tools features
