How to manage your account and billing
Learn how to view your plan, upgrade or downgrade, manage billing, and understand your subscription in Brave Tools.
Your Account Overview
Every user in Brave Tools has a personal account that is created automatically when you sign up. You can also be a member of one or more team accounts.
To view your account details, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar and select Account & Billing.
Understanding Your Plan
Brave Tools offers the following plans:
- Free — Access to core tools (HubDB Editor, Files, Growth Prioritizer). 1 portal.
- Trial — Full access to all tools for 14 days. 1 portal.
- Standard — All tools, including SMS Campaigns. Up to 3 portals. 10 free SMS credits/month.
- Professional — Everything in Standard plus advanced reporting, team accounts, more portals (up to 10), and 20 free SMS credits/month.
Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade at any time:
- Go to Account & Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your desired plan
- Complete payment via Stripe
Your new plan takes effect immediately. You will be billed monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select.
Billing and Invoices
All billing is handled through Stripe. In your Account & Billing page, you can:
- View your current plan and renewal date
- See billing history and download invoices
- Update your payment method via the Stripe portal
- Cancel your subscription
Canceling Your Subscription
If you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account is downgraded to the Free plan. Your data is preserved — you can upgrade again at any time to regain access.
SMS Credits and Billing
SMS credits are separate from your plan subscription. Monthly free credits are included with Standard and Professional plans. Additional credits can be purchased separately. See our article How SMS credits work in Brave Tools for details.
